American Cichlid Salt is a blend of salts designed to replicate the natural environment of American Cichlids. It contains elements such as magnesium, calcium, sodium, potassium, and includes trace components such as iron, aluminum, and iodide.
American Cichlid Salt should be used with American Cichlids when setting up a new aquarium or during water changes. When dosing during water changes only dose the amount of water being changed, not the entire volume of the tank.
